New feature for SWDL task
For WCU:s of version >= 2.58 it is possible to enter a VGM PIN-code by selecting the "VGM unlock"-checkbox. Read more about the SWDL task here.
New options for configuring the Signal Reader module
It is now possible to choose to record samples on change using a checkbox under the *Measurement Data Format*-headline. Another addition is the *Default Diagnostic Channel*-option under *Diagnostics*. Both new features are added for WCU:s of version >= 2.58. Read more about the Signal Reader module here.
Trigger Expressions added for Audio, Video and SWDL
For Audio and Video assignments it is now possible to use trigger expressions to start and stop the recordings. For SWDL assignments, a trigger expression can be used to start the ECU re-programming. For these trigger expressions to work, it is required that the used signals in the trigger expressions are present in the running signal reader assignment on the WCUs in question. The portal does currently not automatically verify that they are, but rather it is expected that the user verifies this. Learn more about trigger expressions here.
OBD-II mode 10
Reading Permanent DTCs using OBD-II mode 10 is now supported in SoH assignments.
XCP Support in Signal Reader
Signal Reader now supports reading of ECU-internal signals using the XCP protocol.
Dynamic IDC sequence files
In v2.58, ICD supports dynamic sequence files enabling diagnostic requests to be composed based on previous diagnostic responses. This can be used for instance for calibration in combination with pre/post-update sequence files in SWDL tasks. Dynamic sequence files also include a set of commands for control flow, conditional execution and more.
