Default WCU Configuration

From version 2.96.0 users with admin permissions can set, view and apply a default WCU configuration to any WCU.

Set default WCU configration

To access the Set function, an administrator must open the Edit Configuration view for a WCU. In this view, a new button labeled Set as Default Configuration is available. When clicked, it creates a new default configuration based on that WCU’s platform and version.

The version used for the default configuration is determined by the Preferred WCU Software column in the WCU tab within the Edit Configuration. If this column is set to NO_CHANGE, the system will instead use the value from the WCU Software Version column in the same tab.
