From version 2.96.0 users with admin permissions can set, view and apply a default WCU configuration to any WCU.

Set Default WCU Configuration

Set/Apply default WCU configuration button

To access the Set function, an administrator must open the Edit Configuration in the Vehicle panel. In this view, a new button labeled Set as Default Configuration is available. When clicked, it creates a new default configuration based on that WCU’s platform and version.

The version used for the default configuration is determined by the Preferred WCU Software column in the WCU tab within the Edit Configuration. If this column is set to NO_CHANGE, the system will instead use the value from the WCU Software Version column in the same tab.

Apply Default WCU Configuration

Apply Default Configurations Panel

To access the Apply function, an administrator must open Edit Configuration in the Vehicle panel. When clicked, a new panel called Default Configurations will open (see image “Default Configurations Panel” for reference).

This panel displays all default configuration versions available for the WCU’s platform type. To apply a default configuration, simply click the Apply Default Configuration button, and the selected configuration will be applied.

There is also a shortcut to apply a default configuration to a WCU. By right-clicking on a WCU, a new option called Apply Default Configuration will be shown. Selecting this option will take the user directly to the Default Configurations panel.

The Apply Default Configuration function also supports applying a configuration to multiple WCUs simultaneously.

In the Vehicle panel, administrator users will now see a new button labeled View Default Configurations. Clicking it opens the Default Configurations panel, providing an overview of all existing default configurations.
