In order to create a new Blue piraT assignment a few things need to be of satisfactory:
- WCU needs to have WCU version 2.43 or later - The platform type of the WCU needs to be MX4 - Blue piraT needs to be enabled for the WCU under "Edit Configuration"
To create a new blue piraT assignment, mark the WCU and select "New Task" and select blue piraT using the corresponding button. and you should see the following:
In order for the WCU to understand what measurements it is supposed to conduct, it needs a file that describes the matter. Transfer this file in the form of a .zip file using the button in the top of the window. The .zip file in question can be generated from the software belonging to the blue piraT.
Under the button to choose assignment file to transfer to the WCU, the Pre trigger and Post trigger durations can be set in seconds. What these durations determine is for how long before and after the trigger, respectively, that recording should be made.
