New features for SWDL tasks

For WCU:s of version >= 2.58 it is possible to enter a VGM PIN-code by selecting the "VGM unlock"-checkbox. Read more about the SWDL task here.

It is now also possible to specify a trigger expression for when SWDL should be allowed (see below).

SWDL performance has been improved when done over CAN.

New options for configuring the Signal Reader module

It is now possible to choose to record samples on change using a checkbox under the *Measurement Data Format*-headline. Another addition is the *Default Diagnostic Channel*-option under *Diagnostics*. Both new features are added for WCU:s of version >= 2.58. Read more about the Signal Reader module here.

Trigger Expressions added for Audio, Video and SWDL

For Audio and Video assignments it is now possible to use trigger expressions to start and stop the recordings. For SWDL assignments, a trigger expression can be used to start the ECU re-programming. For these trigger expressions to work, it is required that the used signals in the trigger expressions are present in the running signal reader assignment on the WCUs in question. The portal does currently not automatically verify that they are, but rather it is expected that the user verifies this. Learn more about trigger expressions here.

OBD-II mode 10

Reading Permanent DTCs using OBD-II mode 10 is now supported in SoH assignments. The OBD-II functions also has improved support for using both 11 bit and 29 bit CAN identifiers.

XCP Support in Signal Reader

Signal Reader now supports reading of ECU-internal signals using the XCP protocol.

Dynamic IDC sequence files

In version 2.58, IDC supports dynamic sequence files enabling diagnostic requests to be composed based on previous diagnostic responses. This can be used for instance for calibration in combination with pre/post-update sequence files in SWDL assignments. Dynamic sequence files also include a set of commands for control flow, conditional execution and more. Read more about the syntax of IDC sequence files here.

ECU list

A new panel called 'ECU List' is available in the vehicles tab. This new panel replaces 'ECU SW' and 'View DTC:s'. A description is found here. Select a row in the vehicles tab and press the button "ECU List".

Video support in Rapid Prototyping

Similar to the Signal Broker API of the Signal Reader module, the video module now supports socket connections from RP programs, where video from a connected camera is available for processing.

Block alarms

It is now possible to block alarms for certain severities and/or categories for either a resource selected in the alarm grid or for all resources. Administrators can also select to apply the blockage for all users or only the current user. Read more about this feature here.

Right click options added in Alarm tab

From this version forward it is possible to navigate to the Tasks- or Vehicles-tab based on the selected resource by the use of a right click option. Read more about the Alarm-tab here.

Remove WCU(s) from resource group in Vehicles tab

In addition to removing WCUs from resource groups in the administrator tab, it is also possible to do so in the Vehicles tab. This option is added to the right click context menu if the current selection only include WCUs in resource group. Read about this feature here.

Remove result files

The result files listed when pressing "Get result files" in the Tasks-tab can now be removed by the use of a right click option. This feature is further presented here
